Zayed National Museum

The museum serves as a national institution and memorial dedicated to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates. It chronicles the story of the nation's unification and its history from ancient times to the present day, highlighting the legacy and values of the late leader.

Designed by Foster + Partners in collaboration with the British Museum, the contemporary structure features a distinctive architectural style. The facility includes six permanent galleries and an extensive outdoor garden designed for educational purposes.

The museum houses a collection of over 3,000 artefacts that illustrate the cultural, archaeological, and historical heritage of the region. Exhibits detail the economic transformation of the country and its deep-rooted history through various permanent displays.
