This three-aisled neo-Romanesque basilica was constructed between 1897 and 1899, replacing an original Gothic church from the 14th century. Designed by the architect Ludvík Lábler, the building was formally consecrated on June 6, 1900. It is officially recognized as a protected cultural monument.
Following a comprehensive restoration in the 1990s, the church was reconsecrated in 2000. It functions as a Roman Catholic parish church and a venue for spiritual programs and community gatherings. The building is wheelchair accessible.
