Pfaffenthal Panoramic Elevator

The public glass elevator serves as a mechanical link between Pescatore Park in Ville Haute and the river valley below. The structure reaches a height of 71 meters, completing the ascent in under 30 seconds. The facility is designed to accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists.

At the top of the structure, a cantilevered walkway features a walkable glass floor section. This observation deck provides direct views downward and panoramic perspectives over the Alzette valley and the Kirchberg area.

The elevator officially opened on July 22, 2016. The glass construction of the cabin ensures continuous visibility during the transition between the different levels of the city.
