Gangaramaya Temple

Established in the late 19th century, this site is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the area. It functions as a place of worship, a seat of learning, and a cultural center. The temple is known for organizing the internationally recognized Nawam Maha Perahera, an annual cultural festival.
