Church of Sacred Heart

Constructed between 1930 and 1932 according to the designs of architect Josef Zasche, this deanery church is a significant example of functionalist and expressionist architecture. The building is characterized by its use of sharp-fired bricks and remains a protected cultural heritage site. The interior features a notable coffered ceiling and a bronze statue of Christ created by the sculptor Arnold Hartig. The church organs were also specifically designed by the architect, Zasche.

The building serves as an active center for the local Roman Catholic parish, hosting regular religious services, adorations, and community events. It is an active place of worship that remains open for spiritual life and liturgical purposes.
