阿格里真托城堡

Also known as Castrum Agrigenti, this ruined medieval castle dates back to 1087. Historical records from 1150 describe the site as a strong fortress characterized by an internal courtyard, defensive walls, and towers.

The structure was largely demolished in 1909 to make way for a municipal reservoir, leaving only sparse remains. Currently, the site is under public ownership and remains in a state of abandonment, with its original layout no longer discernible.
