It features several unique attractions, including the TILT ride, a moving platform that tilts visitors outward for an exhilarating perspective, and CloudBar, a bar with panoramic vistas. Additional offerings include a skywalk and exhibits focused on Chicago's history, enhancing the experience with educational content.
The observation deck is housed within a structure designed in the high-tech architectural style by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Bruce Graham, and Fazlur Khan. The building itself stands 344 meters tall and accommodates commercial, residential, and office spaces. The deck also includes a restaurant and a high-altitude ice skating rink, contributing to its diverse amenities.
Open to the public, the space hosts special events and is wheelchair accessible, combining entertainment with accessibility and architectural significance.
