Established in 1982 by horticulturist and artist Jean-Philippe Thoze, this private botanical garden opened to the public in 1986. The grounds are organized around a traditional Creole house.
The collection includes approximately 3,000 species of tropical plants from around the world. Notable varieties include anthuriums, hibiscus, bromeliads, and heliconias, alongside an extensive collection of 80 types of palm trees.
Elevated walkways provide perspectives of the diverse flora from the treetops, with views extending to the Pitons du Carbet. The garden is open to the public for exploration of its botanical collections.
