Sultan Abdul Samad Building

Built in the 19th century, this imposing building serves as a reminder of the colonial times. The Moorish-influenced complex used to house the British administration and it is currently home to some Ministry offices. The building has witnessed many historically important events, for example, the signing of the declaration of the independence.
