A Coruña Beaches
A Coruña’s coastline is defined by its diverse sandy stretches, ranging from the expansive urban arcs of Riazor and Orzán to the secluded coves beneath the Tower of Hercules. Many locations, such as Orzán, are characterized by strong Atlantic swells favored by surfers, while others like Oza and San Amaro provide sheltered waters protected by breakwaters. This selection includes Blue Flag beaches and smaller urban inlets distributed along the city's rocky peninsula.
A Praia das Lapas
Sheltered cove located at the base of the Tower of Hercules, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
B Riazor Beach
Blue Flag beach popular with tourists as well as with the locals. Crystal clear water makes up for the not so fine sand.
C Orzan Beach
Large urban beach known for strong Atlantic waves and surfing. It is separated from Riazor Beach by a central breakwater.
D Praia de Santo Amaro
Urban beach situated near the Tower of Hercules and the Aquarium Finisterrae, featuring calm waters protected by the coastline.
E Oza Beach
A tiny beach with golden sand. It borders with the port so it can get a bit noisy, but is protected with wave-breakers.

Long sandy spit located across the estuary in the Perillo area, featuring a wide shoreline and a promenade.

Tiny sandy cove located on the northern tip of the peninsula, near the Adormideras neighborhood.
