This collection spans the continent, from the heritage-listed Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, established in 1816, to the arid-zone specialist Olive Pink Botanic Garden in Alice Springs. It includes Melbourne’s Victorian-era Fitzroy Gardens and the vast 16-million-hectare Great Western Woodlands. The list features specialized collections of native flora at the National Botanic Gardens in Canberra and tropical biodiversity at the Cairns Botanic Gardens. Many sites, such as Perth’s Kings Park and Brisbane’s South Bank Parklands, combine diverse plant life with significant urban history and panoramic city views.
