Majestic Waterfalls

This collection features prominent cascades across Banff National Park and the Icefields Parkway. Bow Falls provides a powerful, wide drop near the Banff townsite, while Johnston Canyon’s Upper Falls plunges 30 meters into a limestone gorge accessible via elevated catwalks. Further north, the Icefields Parkway hosts the multi-tiered Bridal Veil Falls and the 66-meter drop of Panther Falls. These sites showcase the region's glacial meltwater and unique geological formations, ranging from roadside viewpoints to forested trailheads.

Bow Falls

A wide, powerful waterfall on the Bow River located just below the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. It is easily accessible via paved walking trails from the Banff townsite.

Panther falls

A 66-meter vertical drop located near the Big Bend on the Icefields Parkway. The falls are reached via a short, relatively steep forested trail.

A 30-meter waterfall at the end of the main Johnston Canyon trail. It features a viewing platform accessible via canyon-clinging catwalks.
