Razgrad Essentials

Razgrad showcases a dense concentration of historical layers, from the UNESCO-listed Thracian Tomb of Sveshtari with its unique caryatids to the expansive Roman ruins of Abritus. The Sboryanovo reserve protects ancient sanctuaries and the 16th-century Demir Baba Teke mausoleum. In the city center, the Ibrahim Pasha Mosque stands as a significant Ottoman monument, while the ethnographic museum preserves the traditions of the local Kapantsi people. Modern Razgrad is defined by the Huvepharma Arena, home to the multi-title-winning Ludogorets football club.
