Bitou Essentials

Bitou encompasses the coastal stretch of the Garden Route around Plettenberg Bay. This region features the Robberg Nature Reserve, a World Heritage Site with rocks dating back 120 million years, and the Bloukrans Bridge, the world’s highest commercial bungy jump site. The area is a hub for wildlife conservation, hosting the world’s largest free-flight aviary at Birds of Eden and specialized sanctuaries for primates, big cats, and orphaned elephants.
