This ancient city, once the southern capital of the Nabataean Kingdom, features remarkably preserved sandstone facades with intricate carvings and inscriptions. The site includes the iconic monolithic Qasr Al Fareed, the religious assembly hall of Jabal Athlab, and the historic Al-Hajar Station, a key stop on the early 20th-century Hejaz Railway.
