Kornati National Park Essentials

Kornati National Park comprises 89 islands characterized by high vertical cliffs known as 'crowns' and sparse vegetation. This selection features the 6th-century Byzantine Fortress of Tureta and the Church of Our Lady of Tarca, built atop an early Christian basilica. The list includes notable peaks like Opat and Zakrćje for panoramic views, the 19th-century Tajer lighthouse with its unique iron tower, and the stone movie set on Mana island. Essential nautical hubs like Vrulje and specialized seafood restaurants provide services within this protected maritime area.
