Ancient Egyptian Wonders

This collection showcases the monumental architecture of ancient Thebes, centered around the Luxor Temple complex. It includes the nearly 3-kilometer Avenue of Sphinxes that once connected Luxor and Karnak temples for the Opet Festival. Key sites feature the Precinct of Mut, dedicated to the mother goddess, and the massive red granite obelisk of Ramesses II. Obelisk

A 25-meter red granite monolith commissioned by Ramesses II. It stands at the entrance of Luxor Temple; its twin is located in Paris.
