Matara District: Unmissable Highlights

Matara District encompasses the southern tip of Sri Lanka, featuring a mix of coastal landmarks and inland natural wonders. The region is defined by its Dutch colonial architecture, such as the Old Nupe Market, and significant Buddhist sites including the island-bound Parevi Duwa Shrine.
