Gračanica Essentials

Gračanica centers on the 14th-century Gračanica Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site and masterpiece of late Byzantine architecture commissioned by King Milutin. Nearby, the archaeological park of Ulpiana preserves the remains of a Roman and early Byzantine city, including mosaics and basilicas. The area offers outdoor recreation at Badovc Lake, a reservoir on the Gračanka River, and historical exploration at the ancient Veletin fortress.
