Christian IV

Statue of King Christian IV of Denmark-Norway, who founded the modern city of Oslo (then Christiania) after the great fire of 1624. The monument is located at Stortorvet.

Viktoriahuset

Historic greenhouse built in 1876 to house the Victoria amazonica giant water lily. Part of the Botanical Garden, it features a variety of tropical plants within its classic glass and iron architecture.

Botanical museum

Established in 1863, this museum houses the herbarium collections of Professor Matthias Numsen Blytt. It is part of the Natural History Museum and focuses on botanical research and preservation.

Kragstøtten

Monument dedicated to Hans Hagerup Krag, Norway's former Director of Roads. Located near Holmenkollen, it commemorates his contributions to the national road system and provides panoramic views of Oslo.
