Stunning Waterfalls

Pahang’s diverse landscape, spanning the Cameron Highlands to Taman Negara, contains some of Malaysia's most significant cascades. This collection includes the famous Rainbow Waterfall, where morning mist creates light refraction, and the multi-tiered Berkelah and Jerangkang Falls known for deep natural pools. Sites range from accessible recreational parks like Jeriau Waterfall at Fraser's Hill to remote wilderness areas like Lata Berkoh, which requires boat access through primary rainforest.

Rainbow Waterfall

Known for the natural rainbow effect visible in the mist between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Reaching the site requires a 4WD vehicle and a 45-minute uphill hike.

Jeriau Waterfall

A multi-tiered cascade located at Fraser's Hill. It features a paved walkway leading to a shallow pool and basic picnic facilities.

Seri Mahkota Fall

A vertical drop waterfall located within the Endau-Rompin (Pahang) State Park. It is accessible via a short jungle trek from the park's visitor center.

Robinson Falls

Located near Tanah Rata in the Cameron Highlands, this fall is accessible via Trail 9. It historically provided the site for the region's first hydroelectric station.

Parit falls

A small cascade within a recreational forest in Tanah Rata. It features a concrete walkway, bridges, and a designated picnic area.

Air Terjun Sungei Pandan

Also known as Panching Waterfall, this site features a wide, tiered cascade and a suspension bridge. It is part of a managed forest reserve with amenities.

Upper Tanglir Fall

A series of cascades located near Bukit Tinggi. The upper section is reachable via a trail through the forest.

Sg. Salan Waterfall

Remote waterfall located near Jerantut, often visited as part of regional rainforest trekking routes.

Lata Meraung

Located near the Jerantut golf course, this waterfall features a natural rock slide and a pool suitable for swimming.

Lata Jarum

A recreational spot in Raub featuring a series of cascades and rapids. It is located within the Hulu Dong Forest Reserve.

Gapoi Fall

A multi-tiered waterfall located near Karak, accessible via a trek through secondary forest.

Seminyang Falls

Located in the Bentong district, this waterfall consists of several levels and is a frequent site for local camping.

Sg. Dua Fall

A scenic waterfall near Karak accessible via 4WD tracks. It features a wide drop into a large natural pool.

Berkelah Falls Upper Tier

The highest section of a seven-tier waterfall system. Reaching the upper tier requires a multi-hour hike and 4WD access to the trailhead.

Jerangkang Falls

Known for numerous tiers and deep turquoise pools. Access requires a 4WD vehicle to reach the trailhead followed by a trek along the river.

Bertangga Fall

A tiered waterfall located within the Lepar area, featuring natural rock formations and swimming pools.

Four Steps Waterfall

A multi-level cascade located in the Kuala Koh area of Taman Negara, accessible via river boat and jungle trekking.

Lata Berkoh

A series of rapids and pools in Taman Negara accessible via boat from Kuala Tahan. The water is characterized by its dark, tannin-stained color.
