Southern Sri Lanka's Buddhist landscape features diverse sites, from the 2nd-century BC rock-cut caves of Sithulpawwa to the modern coastal Parevi Duwa Shrine. This collection includes the Galapatha Raja Maha Viharaya, known for its medieval inscriptions, and the Tsunami Honganji Vihara, a memorial standing Buddha.
