Tasmania’s cool-climate wine regions are celebrated for world-class sparkling, Pinot Noir, and Riesling. This selection spans the Tamar Valley, Pipers River, and the East Coast, featuring Tasmania’s first solar-powered winery at Moores Hill and the historic 1956 vines of Providence. Visitors can explore the architectural lookout tower at Devils Corner, the 1880s homestead at Josef Chromy, or the repurposed 19th-century church at Leaning Church Wines, highlighting the state's diverse viticulture and heritage.

Devils Corner

Features an architectural lookout tower and shipping-container cellar door overlooking the Apsley Marshes and Hazards Mountains. The site includes on-site seafood and wood-fired pizza vendors.

Moores Hill Winery

Tasmania's first 100% solar-powered winery, located in the Tamar Valley. The estate specializes in cool-climate Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay produced entirely off-grid.

Ghost Rock

Located on the central north coast with views over the Bass Strait. This estate features a cellar door and restaurant serving regional cuisine paired with their estate-grown cool-climate wines.

Josef Cromy Wines

Set in a restored 1880s homestead surrounded by 150 acres of gardens and a lake. The winery is noted for its sparkling wine production and fine-dining restaurant.

Wines For Joanie

A boutique, family-run vineyard situated on a former apple orchard and dairy farm in the Tamar Valley. It focuses on small-batch, handcrafted wines.

Jansz Wines

Specializes exclusively in sparkling wine using the "Méthode Tasmanoise." The Pipers River site includes an interpretive center detailing the traditional method process and views over a private lake.

Leaning Church Wines

Named after the historic 19th-century wooden church located on the property. The vineyard features a landscaped lake and specializes in cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Providence Wines

One of Tasmania’s oldest commercial vineyards, with original vines dating back to 1956. The estate produces traditional-method sparkling wines and aged Pinot Noir.
