Elevated Views and Peaks

Clark County offers diverse vantage points, from the 1,149-foot Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas to the alpine summit of Charleston Peak, which reaches 11,916 feet. In the Valley of Fire, the Silica Dome showcases unique white sandstone formations. The region also hosts critical meteorological infrastructure, including the KESX NEXRAD radar tower and automated weather stations, which utilize these high elevations for regional monitoring and aviation safety.
