Yalova Essentials

Yalova serves as a vital maritime gateway between Istanbul and the Marmara region. This selection highlights the city's central infrastructure, from the İDO Ferry Terminal and the adjacent Star AVM shopping complex to the cultural hub of the Barış Manço Open-Air Theatre. The city's history is poignantly marked by the 1999 earthquake, commemorated at the Earthquake Monument built directly upon the disaster's debris. These sites represent the functional, recreational, and emotional core of Yalova’s urban landscape.
