Isola dei Pescatori

Also known as Isola Superiore, this is the only permanently inhabited island in the Borromean archipelago. The village is characterized by traditional multi-story houses featuring long balconies and a network of narrow alleys. The island maintains a permanent population of 57 residents and a culture centered on fishing. Regular ferry services operated by Navigazione Laghi provide access to the island's pier.
