Inaugurated in 1974, this museum houses an extensive collection of 20th-century Italian art donated by hotelier Mario Rimoldi, who began the assembly in 1923. The institution is located within the historic Casa delle Regole (Ciasa de ra Regoles) and is administered by the Regole d'Ampezzo. It has received official recognition from the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities for its cultural importance.
The permanent collection includes works by influential masters such as Filippo de Pisis, Giorgio de Chirico, Mario Sironi, Fortunato Depero, Renato Guttuso, and Massimo Campigli. These pieces are displayed in rotation alongside temporary international exhibitions. In addition to its role as a gallery, the museum serves as a venue for live music performances.
