The highest point in Nice and the best place for breath-taking panoramic views of the city. The hill takes its name after a citadel from the 11th century that used to stand at the top of it but it was destroyed by King Louis XIV in 1706 and there are only a few remains left now. Come to see the spectacular lighting at night.
The park features a waterfall and it is a great place for a stroll. Also, it has large lawns where you can enjoy a picnic while your kids are having fun on the playground. There are also two cafés where you can get some snacks or ice cream. You can get here by tram, line T1, station Opéra.
