LocationVieux Nice, France

The highest point in Nice and the best place for breath-taking panoramic views of the city. The hill takes its name after a citadel from the 11th century that used to stand at the top of it but it was destroyed by King Louis XIV in 1706 and there are only a few remains left now. Come to see the spectacular lighting at night.
