This famous theater is a birthplace of kabuki, classical Japanese dance drama. Worth visiting if you want to learn more about Japanese culture because kabuki performances are one of the best-known examples of it. This very theatre dates back to the 17th century (even though the building which houses it now is from the 20th century).
