Visit this museum dedicated to the life of Leonardo da Vinci and discover his inventions, machines, and paintings.
The main room consists of more than 40 machines, with explanatory descriptions and multimedia devices to give you a better glimpse into how they work. They are divided into three sections - the machines of war, civil engineering machines and the machines of flight.
The Room of Paintings contains copies of Leonardo’s most famous works - The Last Supper, the Mona Lisa, and the Annunciation. The last room displays notes and sketches taken by Da Vinci. Some of his inventions were reconstructed according to these manuscripts. Last but not least, take your children to the educational laboratories which are devoted to Da Vinci's practical engineering.
The museum is open daily and you can explore it completely on your own thanks to the detailed descriptions that are available in six languages. Guided tours can be booked in advance on the website and the museum also organizes special guided tours led by Leonardo da Vinci himself.
