Historic Naval Museum

Venice has a very long naval history, which is comprehensibly explained in this museum. You can see many ship models, drawings, guns and other items connected with seafaring and sailing here. There are two old ships which will take you back in time but also modern boats on display. Sadly, the museum is now closed for renovations but you can visit Padiglione delle Navi (Ships Pavillon) which is located nearby.
