This 3-floors-high palace is a beautiful example of Baroque architecture, with interiors decorated by great Venetian painters. Today, it serves as a museum of 18th-century Venice. Inside the palace, you can marvel at its luxurious, well-kept furnishings and the great collection of paintings, statues and frescoes.
You can also find a café here, as well as take part in one of the thematic workshops and special exhibitions, like a perfume composition, organized by the museum. There are also many guided tours, events and family tours to choose from so be sure to check the official website to see all the options.
The works on the palace started in 1649, however, due to financial problems and a change of owners, they were only finished more than a century later in 1756, under the direction of a different architect, Giorgio Massari. Nowadays, the museum belongs to the city of Venice, which also manages it.
