Das Aostatal ist eine autonome Region mit Sonderstatut in Italien. Die Region, amtlich Regione Autonoma Valle d’Aosta – Région Autonome Vallée d’Aoste, hat eine Fläche von 3262 km² und 123.360 Einwohner. Sie ist somit die kleinste Region Italiens, sowohl flächen- als auch bevölkerungsmäßig. Die Hauptstadt ist Aosta.
