National Costume Museum

Established in 1981, this state museum is housed within the former governor's palace, a structure dating back to the period when the area served as the 19th-century French colonial capital. The building itself is recognized as part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, reflecting the colonial architecture of that era.

The museum's collection focuses on the preservation and display of traditional Ivorian costumes and jewelry. Beyond attire, the exhibits include ethnological photographs and detailed models of traditional habitats, providing insight into the diverse cultural history of Ivory Coast.
