This Roman Catholic church and cultural heritage site was built between 1666 and 1671 as part of a Capuchin monastery. It was consecrated in 1671 and currently serves as the main place of worship for the parish while the Church of Saint Bartholomew is being repaired.
A Jesuit monastery is situated near the building.
