Lomnice Castle

This historic complex originated as a 13th-century Gothic castle and was later reconstructed into a residential château. Its architectural evolution spans several centuries, incorporating Renaissance and Baroque styles, with significant Neomanerist and Neogothic modifications added to the facades during the 19th century.

The site is designated as a protected cultural monument of the Czech Republic. It stands as a testament to the transition from medieval fortifications to a stately home, with records indicating an inception date around 1400. The structure retains a blend of diverse architectural influences, including Gothic Revival elements.
