The museum is housed in a historic granite building that originally served for the production of wooden shingles. Today, it focuses on the history of forestry and hunting traditions within the Krkonoše National Park. Exhibits detail the evolution of forest management, timber harvesting, and historical methods of transporting wood.
The collection includes a model of a klauza, a traditional dam used for log driving, alongside displays of stuffed animals and local wildlife. Hunting traditions are represented through specialized exhibits, and the site also features a wintering enclosure for forest animals. The museum is open to the public.
