Svinenská Gate is the oldest of the original city gates, with historical records dating its existence back to at least 1379. As a Cultural Heritage Site, it represents a significant part of the former fortifications and stands as a primary entry point into the historical district.

The structure is notable for its Renaissance architectural elements, specifically the sgraffito decoration added in 1571. The facade also features a polychrome statue of Saint Florian. It serves as a landmark for tours of the Renaissance-period center.
