Šipka Museum

The museum is housed in a building that formerly served as a slaughterhouse and meat market, situated below the town square. As a branch of the Muzea Novojičínska network, the institution documents local history and nature. Much of the collection focuses on findings from the nearby Šipka Cave, a national natural monument where Neanderthal remains and prehistoric animal fossils were discovered. The exhibits provide scientific and historical context for these archaeological discoveries. The site is a designated Cultural Heritage Site and hosts educational activities, such as the POKLAD BUDOUCNOSTI art competition.
