Belavezhskaya Pushcha National Park

This protected area is one of the largest and oldest remaining parts of the primeval forest that once covered the European plain. Established in its current form in 1991, the territory encompasses a vast expanse of relict woodland. It serves as a primary sanctuary for the European bison, hosting the largest population of the species in Europe.

The grounds feature a Museum of Nature, an open-air archaeological museum, and animal enclosures. On-site infrastructure includes established cycling routes and guided excursion paths. Educational and administrative operations are centered in the settlement of Kamieniuki.

A significant cultural attraction within the forest is the Estate of Father Frost (Pomyestye Dyeda Moroza). The park functions as a state nature conservation institution dedicated to preserving unique flora and fauna, including centuries-old oak trees.
