These ancient rice terraces are a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for their unique amphitheater-like design. Carved into the hillsides over 2,000 years ago by the indigenous Ifugao ethnic group, the site demonstrates advanced historical engineering and a deep harmony with the natural environment. The terrain is characterized by steep, semi-circular stone and mud walls that follow the mountain contours. A traditional village is situated within the area, and trails lead to the nearby Tappiya Falls.
