Designed by architect Max Berg and constructed between 1911 and 1913, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a pioneering example of modern architecture and engineering. The structure is characterized by its massive reinforced concrete dome, which was a groundbreaking achievement at the time of its completion. The hall serves as a multifunctional venue for concerts, festivals, exhibitions, and sporting events.
The site includes a Visitor Centre and the Wrocławskie Centrum Kongresowe (Wrocław Congress Centre). The interior has a maximum capacity of 7,200 people. Surrounding the hall are several notable features, including a Pergola and a Multimedia Fountain.
The building also functions as an educational hub, offering workshops for children and youth that focus on architecture, urban planning, and creative problem-solving. It is a central venue for major cultural, sports, and business events and is open to the public.
