This Gothic hall church was founded between 1240 and 1243 and is designated as a national cultural monument. Consecrated to the patron of miners, the building is historically significant as a site for the Jihlava Compactata.
The structure features two prominent towers, with the northern tower standing 63 meters tall. Originally used as a city watchtower, it contains a gallery at a height of 40 meters that provides panoramic views of the surroundings. The church also houses a notable historic bell named Zuzana.
The interior is decorated with Baroque altars and includes rare historical artifacts such as a Renaissance baptismal font and a unique Pieta dating to 1330. The building is open to the public for viewing its architectural and artistic heritage.
