Synagogue in Český Krumlov

Constructed in 1909, this historic building was designed by architect Victor Kafka. It is architecturally significant as the first structure in Austria-Hungary to utilize reinforced concrete in its construction. The design combines Neo-Romanesque architecture with distinct Art Nouveau elements and is recognized as a Cultural Heritage Site.

The site functions as a cultural space and a monument to the local Jewish community. It houses various exhibitions related to Jewish history and culture, and an on-site cafe is located within the premises. The building is open to the public.
