This well-preserved klyngetun (cluster farm) consists of 27 historic buildings dating back to the 18th century. Officially protected as a cultural heritage site, the farmstead serves as an open-air museum representing traditional West Norwegian rural life and an intact cultural landscape overlooking the fjord.
The site functions as a center for traditional crafts, featuring exhibitions and demonstrations of historical activities such as spinning, weaving, and baking. These demonstrations are typically held during the summer months. The farmyard is open to the public and includes parking facilities and guided tours.
