Established in 1985, this five-hectare zoological park and nature reserve is situated within a lush tropical forest environment and is open to the public. The sanctuary focuses on biodiversity conservation and is home to over 2,000 animals, including the world's largest captive herd of Aldabra giant tortoises and thousands of Nile crocodiles.
The grounds feature several specialized exhibition spaces, including an insectarium housing approximately 20,000 species, a fossil museum, and a reptile museum. An aquarium and habitats for other tropical species such as fruit bats, monkeys, and iguanas are also maintained on-site.
A network of nature trails spanning 3.5 km allows for the observation of regional biodiversity and tropical vegetation. The park is privately operated and serves as a center for natural history education.
