This active caldera volcano is characterized by a unique geological structure consisting of a volcano within a lake within a volcano. Situated within the large Taal Lake, the site features Volcano Island, which contains multiple craters and its own crater lake. Inside this inner crater lake lies a smaller island known as Vulcan Point.
