Botanic Garden and Arboretum

Established in 1996 on the site of the former Dolní Kamenárka limestone quarry, this area covers nearly ten hectares. The grounds feature a unique limestone wetland, a stone labyrinth with an integrated amphitheater, and several newly discovered abyss caves. The site is open to the public.

The botanical collection consists of approximately 1,200 plant species, highlighting calciphilous and thermophilous flora, including rare specimens from the nearby Kotouč mountain. Diverse habitats range from wetlands to xerophytic environments. Geological observation is possible through the presence of fossils, and the quarry walls offer established climbing routes for mountaineering.
