This 17-meter-tall, four-story tower dates back to the late 14th century, when it was constructed as part of the city fortifications. While its initial purpose was defense, it later served as a prison. The structure is a preserved example of Gothic architecture.
The interior currently houses an exhibition of historical weapons and armor. It is operated by the organization Umění ve městě, z.s. and functions as a cultural center, featuring a gallery and a design shop. The tower is open to the public.
